The National Surgical Aid programme and Medical Interventions was officially launched on the 26th of August 2022 by the Director of Allied Health, Dr. Ignatius A.N Awinibuno who represented the Minister of Health. He was assisted by Dr. Magretta Gloria Chandi, Municipal Health Director, Ga West and Hon. Ibrahim Kamal who represented the Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Hon. Afrifa Kwesi Mensa.
